In today’s PV power generation sector, higher efficiency means better project returns. Ruitai Multi-Row Multi-Drive Solar Trackers help overcome the limitations of traditional fixed-tilt systems by accurately following the sun’s path throughout the day. This allows PV plants to increase power generation by 15% to 30%, helping deliver stronger and more stable economic returns.
Suzhou Ruitai is a professional manufacturer of multi-row multi-drive solar trackers; we can offer a complete TCU product series to meet the needs of different PV plant sizes and application scenarios.
For large-scale multi-row and multi-drive arrays, Suzhou Ruitai adopts a "main controller + sub-controller" solution, supporting motors of ≤150W. The system can flexibly adapt to both 300–1500VDC string DC input and 90–264VAC AC grid input, making it suitable for different project designs and power supply conditions.
For single-row, single-drive applications, Ruitai can also provide two models: the DC-powered RT-TK-SP-V1 and the AC-powered RT-TK-EP-V1, both designed to match 300W motors.

Advanced Software and Hardware Integration
The Multi-Row Multi-Drive Solar Tracker supports both AC and DC power supply and is equipped with a high-capacity backup lithium battery, ensuring core control capability even at night or under harsh weather conditions.
With intelligent tracking algorithms and high-precision 3D modeling, it helps reduce shading losses caused by complex terrain and maximize solar energy utilization.
Together with mobile app and SCADA platform, the system enables digital management across the entire process, from fast installation to remote operation and maintenance.
Comprehensive Safety Protection
Safety is critical to every PV power plant.
In strong wind conditions, the system automatically adjusts the PV modules to a flat position parallel to the ground, reducing wind load and protecting the tracker structure.
In special cases, it can also identify independent rows unaffected by wind and allow them to continue generating power. Each NCU can function as a micro weather station, enabling graded protection and fault tolerance during extreme weather such as strong wind, snow, and floods.
With high- and low-voltage separation, electrical protection, and dual software and hardware encryption, the system helps protect personnel, equipment, and data.
What Should Be Included in the Routine Inspection of the TCU?
Ruitai recommends inspecting the Multi-Row Multi-Drive Solar Tracker at least once a month.
1. Visual inspection: Check the cabinet for rust, deformation, or signs of water ingress; check if sealing strips show signs of aging.
2. Wiring inspection: Check power terminals, communication terminals, and motor connection terminals for looseness or oxidation.
3. Indicator light status: Verify that the power, communication, and fault indicators are functioning normally.
4. Communication test: Check the TCU's online status and the timestamp of its last communication via the NCU.
5. Angle verification: Randomly select a few TCUs, issue a test angle command, and measure the actual tracker angle to ensure the deviation is ≤ ±0.5°.
6. Motor operation sound: Listen for abnormal noises during tracker rotation; such noises may indicate mechanical wear or obstruction by foreign objects.
7. Ambient temperature: Check the internal cabinet temperature during high-temperature summer periods and clear dust from ventilation openings if necessary.
Certifications and Quality
Our Multi-Row Multi-Drive Solar Trackers are developed and manufactured in line with strict international and domestic standards, with certifications including ISO 9001 quality management system certification, CE safety certification, and safety standard testing by HTW.
The system software has also obtained the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificate from the National Copyright Administration of the People's Republic of China.
Choosing our TCU products means choosing a compliant, reliable, and efficient solution for the future of PV power generation.
