Suzhou Ruitai is a professional factory that can offer advanced Multi-Axis Tracking Controller. Combining advanced tracking algorithms with real-time sensor feedback, it delivers tracking accuracy of up to ±0.5°, continuously positioning trackers at the optimal angle to maximize solar energy capture. As a key component of intelligent solar power plants, the TCU helps improve energy production, enhance system efficiency, and support smarter plant operations.
Suzhou Ruitai's Multi-Axis Tracking Controller is built on an industrial-grade architecture, featuring IP65/IP66 protection and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
It is designed to withstand harsh conditions, including deserts, high-altitude regions, and coastal areas. Supporting both 4G/5G and fiber-optic communication, the system ensures stable and efficient connectivity, while its low-power, self-sustaining design delivers dependable long-term operation.
Operating Principle
The Multi-Axis Tracking Controller (TCU) adjusts the angle of the PV mounting structure in real-time by integrating solar position algorithms, sensor feedback, and motor control technology.
Its basic operational workflow is: Solar position calculation → TCU generates control commands → Drive motor adjusts structure angle → Sensors provide actual position feedback → TCU corrects operational status → Data upload to NCU/SCADA.
1. Solar Position Data Acquisition
The TCU calculates the sun's trajectory based on time, latitude and longitude, date, and astronomical algorithms.
2. Tracking Structure Motion Control
The TCU sends control signals to the drive system, activating the motor and reduction mechanism to adjust the PV module angle, ensuring the modules remain oriented toward the optimal direction for sunlight exposure.
3. Position Feedback and Intelligent Calibration
The system detects the current status of the mounting structure using angle sensors, limit switches, and position feedback devices, automatically correcting any deviations.
The TCU also executes protective strategies based on environmental conditions—such as high-wind protection (Storm Stow), anti-collision protection, emergency shutdown protection, and limit position protection—to ensure safe operation.
TCU Key Advantages
Enhanced Safety: Supports module-level or string-level rapid shutdown, helping meet modern fire safety standards and improve system protection.
Compact Design: Lightweight and easy to install, with minimal impact on existing rooftop structures and waterproofing.
Smart Management: Manage and monitor the system through a mobile app, making energy management simple and efficient.
Proven Experience: Successfully deployed across Asia, Africa, and other regions, with extensive experience in large-scale solar projects.
Reliable Quality: We follow strict quality control and efficient production processes to ensure consistent performance and dependable product quality.
Higher Energy Yield: It is proven to increase energy generation by 15%–30%, helping maximize the value of every ray of sunlight.
